PLEASE Sign Petition, we'll send updates to the Canucks Management as our numbers grow. Please pass this on to any hockey fan that would like to see the end of the Whale in the Canucks Logo.

The Petition is for any Johnny Canuck and/or Stick and Rink Logo concept, the best one available, not necessarily mine. The Canucks could/should invite all concepts and then open them up for voting and the best Concept wins. It's been done before, why can't we do it?

A New Logo Concept

My Logo Concept............................. I wanted to incorporate some V into my logo, I sketched many things and finally came up with the V-Neck shape in a an opened Collared shirt. Instead of a Green shirt, I changed the color to Blue and it all clicked. My family and most BCer's and Vancouverites all are or started out as Blue Collar workers and it's how we want our team to play. BC = Province of British Columbia, you new this already, but now we can give it extra meaning, our BC = Blue Collar...............not Bring Cash like you might of heard :-)........I hope it's the identity we will embrace with the logo, whether mine or some other version as long as the Orca Whale is gone. If some really like the "Vancouver" over the Crest we could keep this too.

Free Willie, we want Old Time Hockey!

Thanks to the success of the Buffalo Sabres fans to kill the "Slug" logo; we're attempting the same with the Whale or Orca Logo presently cresting our Vintage, Timeless and the most Beautiful Jersey in hockey history, agree to disagree on the last part of that statement you may. If you're not familiar with what the Buffalo Fans did see here  http://www.sabresnotslugs.blogspot.ca/ .

What we need is for all Canucks fan's, actually all hockey fans, that want the Whale, Willie or Fin or whatever his name is, Freed. Throw him back in to the open ocean of Burrard Inlet and lets go back to Old time Hockey. To do that, lets turn to the successful revival of the Johhny Canuck. The team has an identity crisis.

Fans have been calling for this for years, and no response from Ownership. Hundreds if not Thousands of people have sent logo and jersey concepts to the Canucks, as I have.

As a Canuck fan, and speaking for other Canuck fans, we are tired of the Whale jokes relentlessly give by fans of other teams.

So how do we accomplish this? People power this through to completion! We need as many people to support the cause by leaving comments and becoming a follower to this blog. We'll continue to remind the Canucks organization as our numbers grow. Please spread this blog link via Email, Twitter, Facebook, Hockey Forums and whatever good old fashioned word of mouth. If the Sabre fans can do it, why can't we?
